Great Garden
Getaways Newsletter
With our 2009
programme of UK garden holidays now underway, we are really
looking forward to renewing old acquaintances and meeting some
new faces. This Newsletter gives a few updates and also some
advance information on our holidays for 2010. As usual, these
will be detailed more fully in our main brochure which will be
sent out in September. We have some very exciting gardens to
visit this year and we will be venturing into new areas next
year.
Upcoming holidays
for 2009
Gardens of
Dumfries and Galloway, 22-26 June: We’ll be staying in
Dumfries and visiting the unique gardens of south-west Scotland.
New Forest Gardens & Isle of Wight, 5-9 July: Rolling
countryside and pretty villages in the delightful county of
Hampshire. A popular venue and this is now fully booked.
Peak District Gardens and RHS Flower Show, 22-25 July:
Staying in the heart of the Peak District, we’ll visit many
gardens in the area, along with a full day at the RHS Flower
Show, Tatton Park. There are still a few places available, but
don’t delay – the hotel is filling up!
Northern Gardens, 6-9 September: Early autumn tour in
Northern England’s wonderful and diverse gardens. Vacancies
available.
Autumn in the Costwolds, 18-20 October: Due to
operational reasons there have been a couple of changes to the
itinerary in the brochure. We will now be visiting the fantastic
Abbey House Gardens in Wiltshire and the beautiful Bodenham
Arboretum in Worcestershire, which replaces Arley Arboretum and
Hunt’s Court.
Places still available on this 3 day tour.

Getaways Online
If you surf
the net, or have someone who can do it for you, why not have a
look at our website.
Apart from the current year’s UK holiday programme, there is a
page detailing the holidays we will be organising to the
wonderful island of Madeira next year. We’ll be adding pictures
which were taken on both holidays this year to show just how
beautiful it is – from the vast range of flowering trees to the
solitary splendour of the orchids; the dramatic coastline to the
fabulous interior levada walks. There is so much diversity – it
needs to be seen to be believed. Take a look and enjoy!
Have your say!
We’re keen to
take onboard your feedback. One of the changes we’ve made as a
result of your suggestions is to include some of the RHS Shows
in our tours, such as our Peak District trip this July. Please
continue to keep us posted with more of your suggestions in the
future!

TOPP Protected -
What does this mean?
You
may have noticed this logo on our last brochure and some of our
stationery, and wondered what it’s all about...
Well, Total Payment Protection Policy (topp) is an insurance
policy we have arranged with Travel & General Insurance Company
plc. It protects your prepayments in the unlikely event of the
failure of our business. This protection ensures the refund of
any monies paid in advance. It’s been put in place to protect
our UK holidays and to give you confidence that your money is
safe with Great Garden Getaways.
