Staying at the Lee Wood Hotel in Buxton, in the heart of the Peak District, our tour takes us to many gardens in the area, along with a full day at the RHS Flower Show, Tatton Park.
Based in the old market and spa town of Buxton, we travel to the NT Longshaw Estate to pick up our guide and then continue our journey across the High Peak District landscape, learning more about the geology, flora and fauna of this beautiful National Park. We spend the afternoon at Lyme Park, which sits on the edge of the Peak District, surrounded by beautiful gardens, moorland and ancient deer park.

A full day is spent at the RHS Flower Show, Tatton Park, famous for its friendly atmosphere, vibrant displays and inspiring show gardens.
En route to Buxton we visit two gardens, The Burrows Gardens, a private garden set in 5 acres of beautiful Derbyshire countryside and Haddon Hall, one of England’s oldest and most romantic houses, with a colourful, fragrant walled garden which falls in terraces down towards the river. On our return journey, we call into the Cascades Gardens, a delightful 4 acre garden which surrounds the ruins of an old corn mill, with ponds, a stream and waterfalls. From here, we travel on to visit Chatsworth, fondly called the ‘Palace of the Peak’, before returning to Lincolnshire.
