Garden holidays in Devon hosted by expert Judy Disney

This year, Great Garden Getaways' very own Judy Disney will be joining forces with TLH Leisure Resort in Devon, Torquay, to host three special midweek breaks.

26th April 2010 - 4 nights

Devon’s Spring Collection... Explore Devon's beautiful gardens in this 4 night Spring break. During the trip, we will visit RHS Rosemoor - well known for its rich variety of trees, shrubs and ornamental gardens - before moving onto the beautiful gardens of Coleton Fishacre, located in a stream-fed valley above the scenic Devon coast. Our Spring Collection also includes a visit to the inspirational and historical Garden House at Buckland Monachorum, along with a number of personal tours conducted by Head Gardeners or owners, in other sites along the way.

18th July 2010 - 5 nights

Cream of Devon Gardens... This 5-night Summer break takes in the simply stunning RHS Rosemoor, and the National Trust's Knightshayes Court, a Victorian country house with a beautiful walled garden and extensive woodland. Our break continues with a visit to the Garden House at Buckland Monachorum, located in the grounds of a medieval vicarage, before concluding the trip by meeting the owners of three very different gardens.

4th October 2010 - 4 nights

Autumn in Glorious Devon... Our October break takes in RHS Rosemoor during the Autumn - a splendid show that includes the new hot garden with its riot of colourful plants and swaying grasses. Killerton, a Victorian house and hillside garden owned by the National Trust, is another site on our list, along with the Garden House - offering stunning views and a wonderful display of seasonal colour. Finally, our tour takes us to Lukesland - a private garden with striking Autumn colours - and the impressive Orchid Paradise, home of the world famous Burnham Nurseries with their unique orchid display.

All visits include transport and guided tours. Entrance fees are not included.
